I remember holding his hand in the car
Mine was so small compared to his.
I remember weekends at the movies
And how he always asked me
What I wanted to see.

I remember laughs in the car
During long trips
and the radio loud.

I remember piggy back rides
To Grandma’s house
And Saturday morning cartoons.

I remember early mornings
And late nights.
I remember dinner in the living room
And Lego space ships.

And I remember the day I met you
I didn’t expect much
But after 10 years
I only have one thing to tell you-

I hate you for taking that from me.

Oh I went through a phase when I wrote about Peter. Never will those see the light of day again. They were pretty bad. This one was for Cynthia.
